I'm just taking a short break, I'll be back on Friday.
Writing is often considered a lonely profession, and while it's true that it's a solitary task, it does not have to be lonesome. Even a socially-awkward, highly-anxiety-ridden person like myself, can make connections within the writing community.
EDIT: unfortunately I took an unexpected turn for the worst, so no blog post. Since this illness is not playing fair I will just wait until I'm sure I'm on the mend before trying to post. Thanks for your kind words and patience.
One of the main reasons I started this blog, was to help other people. Too often writers see each other as competition but we are a community. I love supporting other writers and creative types. It is why I began to open guest post slots so that people could gain a little extra exposure through this little blog. Let's connect with each other, find new blogs, make new friends.
Today I thought I would share a little wisdom... from other writers all at different stages of the writing journey. So I went and pestered several of my writer friends, asking them all "what things do you wish you knew before writing." Here are their insightful responses!
Felt like doing something a little different today, and since I've been clearing through my digital life, I found some of my older artwork and pottery sculptures and thought I would share them. I have always found it good to have another creative outlet.
So, I did something I never thought I'd ever do... Since I have been trying to push the boundaries of my comfort zone and make sure my anxiety does not stop me from trying new things, I agreed to do an audio interview with my good friend Michael on his YouTube Channel - Ex Libris. Yes, you read that right, I managed to get on and record myself talking and answering questions. And Shockingly I did not have a break down or a massive panic attack. So that was a win!
As my last post of 2017 was a wrap up of the year, let's make my first post of 2018 goals for what I want to achieve this year. After all, I want to start as I mean to go on!
Well as we slink towards the end of 2017, I thought I would do a wrap up as a way of a last blog post for the year.
Let's connect! Leave a comment and tell me about yourself. Let's build a stronger community!
