So, I did something I never thought I’d ever do…
Since I have been trying to push the boundaries of my comfort zone and make sure my anxiety does not stop me from trying new things, I agreed to do an audio interview with my good friend Michael on his YouTube Channel – Ex Libris.
Yes, you read that right, I managed to get on and record myself talking and answering questions. And Shockingly I did not have a breakdown or a massive panic attack. So that was a win!
I just want to say a big thank you to Michael for inviting me to partake in this interview as well as for making me feel comfortable so that I didn’t have a freak out during it. He made it very calm and relaxing for me.
Check out my interview below, click that giant play button, as well as other ones he has hosted, also, check out his website – Tales from the Galactic Empires.
Damn, do I hate my voice. When people learn you’re from England, they all think we have these lilting posh voices…. err, nope. Mine is a harsh Northern voice. :p
Happy Writing

Great interview and you have a lovely voice Ari, don’t be afraid of putting yourself out there more. 🙂 You sound so friendly, happy and passionate about your work….I’m a trekkie too by the way, get lost on the Star Wars movies lol
Aww thanks Cat, that is so sweet of you. Yeah, it has made me feel that little bit more confident that I may eventually be ok making podcasts. :p
Yay trekkie! Which do you like? I love the ST:TNG mostly but I’ve got into the new ST:Discovery 😀
Not seen Discovery yet unfortunately but I like the Next Generation and Deep Space Nine-never met anyone who seems to like that series, lol!
I have watched Deep Space Nine, liked it myself. Though not enough to watch it religiously like with Next Gen
You have a lovely voice and your accent isn’t harsh at all! I love accents; they add to our character! Well done and hooray for you 🙂 🙂 I enjoyed listening to the interview very much.
Thank you so much Clare! That is kind of you. 😀 Glad you enjoyed it. It is making me feel like I can keep on pushing those boundaries!
Good! 🙂
What a wonderful interview, Ari!! So well done, I’m very proud of you!!
Thank you Andrew, I appreciate you taking the time to listen 😀
Thank you Ari, I am deeply honoured and it was great fun too!
It was fun. Thank you so much my friend 🙂
Great interview, Ari! Good for you for being brave and getting out of your comfort zone. You sound wonderful and I feel like we’re on the phone.
Awww thank you Cass 😀 lol maybe after this, I will be more comfortable actually chatting to people on skype calls.
I think you have a nice voice. It makes me feel as though I am listening to a friend.
Aww Annette, that is such a nice thing to say. That has really made me smile 🙂 Thank you so much
