February was definitely a harder month, goal-wise, and not just because it was a shorter month. The weeks just seemed to fly by and it was difficult to stay on track. But in the end, I managed to get through all my goals.

I was actually super happy with January. Despite Covid's best attempts to thwart me, I came out on top! Huzzah. I hit almost all my goals and the one I didn't almost hit! I am ready for a new month! Each small win is celebrated and before I create new goals, I go back to my Yearly Goals to make sure I am staying on track. (In the past, I've not always remembered to do this!)
I ummed and ahhed about whether I still wanted to list my monthly goals as a blog post. When I first started doing it a few years ago, it really helped, but then 2021 kinda derailed me. So I have decided to continue to do this but if I feel these posts aren't servicing me, I'll drop them.
Before writing this post, I took a look back at last year's "Hello" post which was titled "Don't Get In My Way" and to be fair, the year didn't. But I sure as hell did. I got very much in my own way, then tripped head-first into a mental health breakdown. However, I was smart enough to do something about it.
So, May was busy. With family visiting towards the end of the month, it was quite the race to get the work finished on our house before they arrived. Shockingly, it got done! Our house is looking awesome, family came, lots of events and activities were undertaken and then we got a week of recovery from all the people-ing 😀 Overall, a busy and enjoyable month.
It's goal time once again. April was a whirlwind we didn't fully expect and actually I have a week during this month when my family will be visiting so I technically have to get all these done in just 3 weeks. *cracks knuckles* Let's do this!
I'm not really sure what happened to March. It just flew by with barely a nod and wave, if you please! That's not too awful, because during that month, I levelled up another year and I am always fine to ignore that milestone occurring!
Okay, so I didn't anticipate how bad my SAD syndrome would be. But apparently, February came with a big ol' spike of it and no I did not use my Light Box because I can be stupid at times. No that the storms have passed, I am going out daily again and I have put my Light Box on the table to make sure I actually use it.
So, *tired laugh* January was a bust! If you caught my last post, you'll know 10 days into January things got... rough and stayed that way until about yesterday. I'll admit this has left me deflated and flagging (emotionally, mentally and physically). But hey-ho, we press on regardless with the hope that February will be better!
I appreciate by the time this post goes up we will be in the 2nd week of January. But damn, do I like consistency and it would have annoyed me if I didn't have January Goals listed. So I wanted to get my January goals up, look over my December goals and charge ahead strong this year.
