Let's start the year off strong and for me that means making goals. Goals should move you forward. You start with a few yearly goals, then break them down over the months to make it easier to manage. January is the perfect time to consider your Yearly Goals (which I did in last week's post). From there, I've created my first set of monthly goals for the year.
We've finally reached the last month in this year. Time for a final set of goals before we hit a brand new year! What do you want to get done before the end of 2020?
Yes, I am finally back from my sabbatical...kind of. I'll only be uploading Friday posts twice a month. So, how was my sabbatical, you may ask. Well, I will be discussing it in my next blog post as there is a lot to unpack. But I thought I'd start my return with a Goals Post. …
May was a strange month, I was super productive and yet didn't clear all my goals. That was because I went a little crazy on one goal in particular in order to get it finished because I couldn't stand it "hanging around" in my goals list any more.
I'm not sure how this year is going so slowly and yet so fast at the same time. I feel like we've fallen into some weird wormhole where time is moving oddly. However, one thing is sure, I am definitely feeling like I've more time so that means I've added more goals to my monthly list 🙂 Okay, let's start with the usual recap of last month's goals and how I did.
How's everyone coping with the lockdown/stay at home orders? Not much has changed for me as I work from home anyways, and am pretty much a home bird so I'm lucky that it's not such a big shock to the system. I have a nice chunky list of to-dos that am planning to get done (as well as) these goals, now I have more time since there's a lot less errand-running and family commitments to do. I also plan on really diving into more writing!
It's goal-setting time once again, is it weird I'm actually starting to ENJOY my goal setting?
Okay, so old habits die hard... REALLY hard and I've gone back to more than 5 goals. You heard me, I have crowbarred in a few more goals. Though in my defence, my goals haven't hit double figures.
So let's kick off January with some goals! I've decided 2020, is going to be a good year. Mainly because the last 3 years, haven't been too great and I'm getting a little pissed off about getting slapped in the face with bad year after bad year. So, no more bad years. I have decided!! 2020 is the year of DOING! I'm going to be doing my goals a little differently... instead of crowbarring in as many as possible, I'm sticking with just ONE goal per category. That's right, just one!
