Let's continue with more guest posts! This week's lovely contributor is T J Muir, here to discuss the layers in your story. She is another writer I met through the 85K Writing Challenge. (look at me being all social!)
Continuing with our ever-popular mid-week guest posts, this week's guest poster is the wonderful Julie Valerie who I met through the 85K Writing Challenge that she runs yearly.
Julie is discussing the importance of word choice.
And we continue with our awesome mid-week Guest Posts. I invited Robert Evenhouse from the blog PartTimeNovel to share some wisdom. Enjoy!
I have been asked what the "best time of day" to write is. Now I did find this question strange because, like many things, this is writer specific.
There does seem to be the popular concept that all writers are night owls who fervently write during the wee hours.
Well, I can say that we don't all write at night. So don't think you have to stay up late to be a writer.
I thought it would be a good time to talk about getting started in writing. Mainly because the novel series I have been writing on and off, for what feels like forever, has changed and so I am starting anew.
Today I'm going to talk about ideas. The Songs of the Muses. These are the life force of the writer. Without them, we (figuratively) starve.
When you get an idea you need to grab onto it. So the question becomes, where do ideas come from?
The start of a new chapter in my life.
Welcome to The Eternal Scribbler; the writing blog I have been thinking about creating for a while now. Finally, after announcing its creation date as the 1st July 2013, I felt I had to follow through and lo and behold, I am suddenly able to manage it!
