A great podcast. My pet peeve also is head-hopping. It takes me out of the story and will cause me to stop reading the book. All my books are from my main character’s point of view. I make double sure there is no head-hopping when I do the final edit, so there is no confusion for the young reader.
Thanks for listening, Darlene. Glad I’m not the only one who has issues with head-hopping. It really can drop you from the story as you try and figure out why the flow is suddenly off, only to realise you’ve shifted heads three times.
