Guest Posters Wanted For This Blog

It’s the New Year and I’m looking for some new Guest Posters!

Last year I actually went around bothering the good people on social media to see if any of them wanted to share their wisdom, regale us with tales of success or woe….and just shamelessly advertise their writing/books!

Are you a writer? editor? publisher? book reviewer? book cover designer? want to do a guest post on my writing blog?

It was awesome and some wonderful and talented people became guest posters.  And yes they shared their wisdom, success and woes…and to be honest, there was no “just shamefully advertise” at all.

In fact, I had to start encouraging my posters to include links and blurbs about their books because they were too darn nice to just do it.

So, why did I do that?

Because this blog is about sharing!

It is where I (attempt) to share my own brand of wisdom (knock-down wisdom, cheap as chips!) in the hopes that someone, anyone, just one person will find it useful.

The guest posting is the same.  It’s sharing, I give the space, you give your thoughts and words (cus I’m not writing it for you) and my readers get something that might help and inspire then.  Not to mention, you get some exposure and hopefully some new readers, followers, fans etc.

Over the Christmas period, I had some personal trouble and due to this I am dealing with my anxiety that has gone a little crazy, so reaching out to people directly has taken a back seat in order for me not to have a load-a-crazy meltdown.

But I still want to open up for guest posters.

So, are you a…

  • Writer (any kind)
  • Avid reader
  • Publisher
  • Editor
  • Book reviewer
  • Critique partner
  • Beta-reader
  • Long-suffering partner/friend/parent/child of a writer
  • Book cover designer

Yup, all of these types of people have things they can share with the readers.  I’m not just looking for writers. 🙂

Do you want to:

  • Get some exposure
  • Share your thoughts, wisdom, guru-ness with people who might be awed and inspired or at least amused and interested
  • Reach out to new people and possibly make new connections (network people!)

If so, consider writing a guest post.  I’ve had ones on an array of topics, ones from writers, book reviewers, readers, bloggers…

It doesn’t matter if someone has already discussed a topic you might want to write about (or if I have) we ALL have our own take on things, our own experiences and ideas.

I always give my guest posters plenty of time to complete their work and will send full details of what I would need and when.

Are you interested?

Also, I am super friendly (online that is, don’t approach me in public, I tend to growl and hiss a lot) so just drop me a comment here, or on Facebook or DM me on Facebook or Instagram.

Quick note: this isn’t just a place to sell your book.  I want to help you, give you exposure, but your article would have to be an article, not a full-page advert!  Okay? Got that out the way?  Good!

PS: To all my awesome guest bloggers from last year, if any of you wonderful people have any more ideas you want to share, you are totally welcome to hit me up! Would love to have you back!!

PPS: If this isn’t something you are interested in, but you know someone who might be, pass it to them, share it all around!
