Have you created your own fantasy world for your novel? Here are a few things to consider when creating your world's economy.
I have been asked a few times about the program I use for writing my novels. So I thought I would take a break from the World Builder series to go through the basics of Scrivener.
I'm back with my World Builder series. In my recent World Building articles, I discussed creating Races and their Habitats. I have decided that today I'm discussing the role of Transport.
Last week's post was about creating a race, focusing on appearance, type and genders. Now we're going to look at the habitat of the race. Just to clarify, when I say habitat it is referring to more than just the terrain and will encompass a number of factors.
I am finally back to my World Builder Series! I took a long hiatus from it but I think it's time I breathed life back into this. Today's topic is about creating races, whether that's humans, merfolk, centaurs or talking rocks, you need to come up with different races to populate your world.
This week's guest poster is the awesome writer Mel Carter who discusses the technique of planning a novel. Enjoy!

Something has come up and I can't complete today's post. However, rather than not post, thought I would share this article by Rachel Poli about mystery writing. Enjoy and do check out Rachel's other posts.
This week's guest poster is my wonderful friend, Andrew McDowell, author of Mystical Greenwood which came out earlier this year. He is here today to discuss characters. Enjoy.
