A goal is a dream with a deadline...way to suck the fun out of dreaming, eh! 🙂 But if we want to move forward it helps to have a plan, a focus and goals are exactly that. I had already been thinking about what my Writing Goals would be, especially with the 85K in 90 day challenge looming on the horizon (Jan - Mar 2017)
For those of you who read my post For The Great Love Of Books, you will know I didn't find reading easy when I was growing up. Add to that the social awkwardness of extreme anxiety and I was very much a kid who spent her time hidden away alone.
I have had a strange relationship with books. Not only am I a writer, but I am also an avid reader. That might not seem strange, after all, if you want to be a good writer you NEED to be an avid reader. However, it wasn't always that way for me. In fact, the idea I am a writer at all is pretty strange. Let me explain...

You may have noticed there was no guest post this week, it had to be rescheduled so I thought I would jump on the Fiction Writers Blog Hop. May's topic was book covers. Now, like almost everyone, I totally judge a book by its cover. I mean, who the hell doesn't? It's (usually) the first thing you see and as mostly visual creatures we are drawn to what we like.
