I’ve wanted to write in multiple genres from the beginning so as to avoid typecasting.
Yes, typecasting can be frustrating. While I understand some people like the honorary title of “King of Horror” or “Queen of Sci-fi” if they dedicate themselves to one genre, I personally find it’s too limiting.
I have too many ideas in many genres to be tied to just one.
I know what you mean.
