Well, the end of the year is upon us and the last few months have been stressful, between family situations, getting ill, buying a house and our elderly cat having surgery, I’ve about had it with this year.
Since November was a bust in terms of completing goals, I am not going to hamstring myself this month.
We are still sorting the purchase of our home and with the sad diagnosis of our cat I’ve decided not to go home for the holidays.

01 – Write something
I am not giving myself any word count goals, I just want to write something. I will be participating in the 85k90Day Challenge starting in January, so I’ll give a bigger push then.

02 – Plan 2 months of content
I just want to have a nice solid plan for the next 2 months. While I’d love to start writing all these posts early, I want to keep this goal simple.

03 – Read 2 books
Despite this being one of my busiest times for my business, I usually have some time over Xmas so I’m hoping I can get through 2 books in this time.

3 goals does seem pretty low compared to my usual 10, but I need to take a break from this to sort all the home/family stuff going on.
Nice simple goals for a time when you need them them to be. Feeling for you concerning your poorly cat. They really are part of the family, aren’t they? Take care, Ari, and hope you have some ease over the festive period

Thabk you so much Lynne for your kind words x
Three goals is a good number and it’s great you’re keeping them simple. I sometimes find that keeping things simple is better because then, if you have the time and energy, you can go beyond and feel like you’ve accomplished more. But definitely focus on your health, your cat’s health, and buying the house. But also do your best to find some time to relax this season. You do fabulous work, you deserve a break. 🙂
Very true. It’s hard for me to step back and do less but I know it’s the right thing to do.
Aww thank you, Rachel 😊
Considering everything, I think three goals is a good number. Good luck with them, and with all the family/personal stuff you’re dealing with.
Thank you kindly, Victoria
Dropping your number of goals during December is an excellent idea! Glad you had the courage to do it. 😊❤️
Thanks Pearl, I really had to stop myself going crazy and adding loads again. 😊
Exactly! ❤️😊
You need to give yourself time and space to care for and be with your kitty, and to begin to deal with losing her. I know — our Flaming Chi To’s squamous cell carcinoma is back, in his upper eyelid this time, and we don’t know how much longer we’ll have him either. It is all very hard to go through.
You and your family all have my thoughts, prayers, hugs and concern. ❤️🙏
Awww Pearl, I’m so sorry to hear about Flaming Chi To’. Hopefully you will get a long time with him. These little balls of fur are big parts of our family.
Sensing you and your cat good thoughts x
Good luck with your goals and let’s hope your life will calm down and take a turn for the better.
Thank you kindly, Tomas. 😊
I hope you meet all your self-imposed deadlines Ari and demands lessen as we ease into the new year.
Thank you so much, Linda
You’re welcome Ari – hope your cat is doing better now.
She’s being spoilt rotten. We may only have a few months with her, but we are going to make it count
That’s the spirit and exactly what I would do as well Ari.
😁😁
Best of luck to you!
Thank you Andrew
You’re welcome!
Reblogged this on anita dawes and jaye marie.
Thank you so much for reblogging 😊
I think any goals at the end of the year is a feat!
Lol thanks Ivia. I almost scrapped the idea of any goals, but I found I just couldn’t do that lol
