If you caught this week's podcast episode, we talked about reading our work aloud to help catch anything that sounds odd or clunky. In that episode, I mentioned the fact there are programs that will read your text aloud. Well, apparently my version of Microsoft Word has a Read Aloud feature that I didn't know about. So, I tried it!
If you're looking for a new challenge to push your writing in the coming year, then I heartily recommend the 85K 90Day Writing Challenge hosted by Julie Valerie. The Challenge (technically) runs from 1st January to 31st March every year. I say technically because there are more steps throughout the year in regards to Editing, Prepping etc. It just means if you completed the challenge and wanted continued encouragement, support and advice on the following steps in your writing journey, you can use the 85K Challenge to help.
Since 2018 is drawing to a close, I felt this was the perfect time to let all of you who are unaware, that there is an awesome Writing Challenge that runs January 1st to March 31st every year.
