It may be an odd topic, but I guarantee someone who listens to it won't know that Authors can get insurance and why it may be useful. So that is the topic of today, as Rachel and I ask and answer: “Do You Need Author Insurance?”

One thing I really want to do this year is tackle my TBR list. After counting up all my as-yet-unread books (fiction books only) both physical books and ebooks... Well, let's just say I was a little overwhelmed.
As mentioned in an earlier episode, we are moving to Guest Interviews for our guest episodes and to test the format, we decided to interview each other. If you missed Rachel's interview, you can check it out here. Today is my interview as Rachel asks and I answer: “Who Is Ari Meghlen (2.0)?"
Rachel and I have been friends for a long time. We met online because we both had a love for writing. Having writer friends can make such a difference because only another writer truly understands what it's like to tackle the intensity of writing a novel. So in today's episode Rachel and I ask and answer: How Do You Make Writer Friends?
In my last non-podcast post, I mentioned my Goal Tasks and how I use a Kanban board to track my goals. So, today I am sharing more of that here!
We are back with another podcast episode and on today's show Rachel and I ask and answer: “What Book Platforms Can Authors Be On?”
If you caught our episode at the end of 2024, we shared about changing our guest format from topic-based (like all the other episodes) to interview-based. To see how well this will work (including how we will do the videos with more slides), we decided to use ourselves as guinea pigs. So, in this episode, I am interviewing Rachel about her work, book, processes and more. “Who Is Rachel Poli (2.0)?”
My look-back over 2024, reminded me that while I did accomplish many things, my writing still suffered. So, while I have lots of plans for doing a lot in 2025, I NEED to make it my priority this year.
We have hit a milestone of 250 episodes so we're doing another Would You Rather edition. As we ask and answer: “Would You Rather? [Podcast Edition]”
A brand new page has opened before us as the New Year greeted us. Crisp and fresh and we... bring with us all the baggage from the last. It's inevitable. But how we handle that baggage and how we approach the coming year makes all the difference. If I had to choose a word for this new year, it would be 'Change'.
