In case you are new here, the last Friday of every month is a "Write Life" update where I discuss what I've been working on. March was not a great month as I ended up catching the flu, and then before I was 100% better, my partner came down with it. So things have been slow going.
Welcome back to the podcast, in today's episode we are all about Foreshadowing. What it is, why you might want to use it, different types etc as Rachel and I ask and answer: “How Do You Use Foreshadowing?”
If you tried to visit my website (outside of it popping up on Reader), you may have received a connection lost message over the last few weeks. This is also why there was no blog post last Friday. I have been doing battle and THIS is my tale!
NOTICE: If you are seeing this post, then I assume you saw it on your Reader. I am currently having problems with my domain name so my website when searched for or typed into the URL, can't be seen. I am working hard to get this issue fixed. I will remove this message once I get it sorted. Are you ready for another episode? Today on The Merry Writer Podcast show we are all about finances as Rachel and I ask and answer: “How Can You Save Up For Publishing?”
We are racing ahead with more episodes and on today's show, we are talking Deus Ex Machina, it's one of those topics that can annoy me so I had to chat about it as Rachel and I ask and answer: “What Is A Deus Ex Machina?”
Happy Wednesday! Today is for all those who want to try plotting/planning. So for all your pantsers who have no interest in plotting, this one is not for you. Today, Rachel and I ask and answer: “What Are Some Novel Outlining Methods?”
February was definitely a harder month, goal-wise, and not just because it was a shorter month. The weeks just seemed to fly by and it was difficult to stay on track. But in the end, I managed to get through all my goals.
Today's episode is a sillier one, as I get on my pedestal to bemoan the As You Know, Bob trope that I truly hate. Not sure what that is? Then give it a listen as Rachel and I ask and answer: “What Is The "As You Know, Bob" Trope?”
After my last "Write Life" update in January, I felt more accountable and so I've been plugging away at my writing projects.
