Author: Ari

I often question my sanity. Occasionally, it replies. At the age of 8, Ari Meghlen wanted to be a pirate. Because who doesn't look great in baggy pantaloons and an eyepatch. However, lacking any access to a ship this dream was relegated along with so many others: Professional ninja, best friend to a dragon, Paleontologist. Yet Ari found that, in stories, she could be anything she wanted and so a great love affair started with the written word. Her first story was about a monster under the bed and she hasn't stopped writing since. She does occasionally find time to leave her writing cave and indulge in other hobbies such as drawing, blogging, making things, shooting arrows, watching movies, playing badly at cards. Let's get down to brass tacks... Ari write's mostly Preternatural Urban fantasy, more Traditional fantasy and a some sci-fi. Meaning she spends almost no time in reality. Though she does visit on occasion.

Also, since this month resulted in little writing done, I decided "The Write Life" Update wouldn't be very useful. So instead, I want to share with you - Whichbook.

We are in the 3rd quarter of the year, times for more goals. Quarters are great for reminding me to look back on my actual yearly goals and keep track of myself (it doesn't always work, my brain is quite scattered at times) but I like to try. 😀
