It's been a while so I thought I'd do another "Let's Connect" post. I believe my last one was back in 2019. The blogging community is a supportive place and I always think it's fun to reach out and learn more about each other.
You might just find some new blogs you have never heard of before, new people to follow and new friends along the way. 🙂
In today's episode, we decided it might be fun to discuss some methods for helping to speed up writing/typing and even share a typing speed test for you to try. Check out this week's episode below as we ask and answer the question: “How Do You Increase Your Writing Speed?”
October was a bit of a write-off due to getting a jury summons. In Northern Ireland, apparently you are in jury service for 4 weeks (not on a jury, just summoned in case they NEED a jury). While I wasn't needed every day (if there's no cases on), here was enough days we all got called in and had to sit around waiting in case we were called. Thankfully, I wasn't called to be in a jury but it still sucked up a lot of time.
It's podcasting day again and today, Rachel and I were joined once more by author Helen Scheuerer for this episode as we and she answers the question: “How Do You Launch A Successful Series?"
I thought I'd do something a little different. Since it's October and almost Halloween, I thought I'd share my top 5 Creepy Movies (currently). Now, I don't actually watch many horror movies and I am not interested in gore movies or extremely gruesome ones. These ones are some of the few I can watch (in daylight only :D) that I enjoyed the storyline and weren't so scary that I'd never sleep again.
I'd just like to thank Rachel for being an absolute star and editing this episode for me. We each edit the episodes that we lead but with the stress of during jury service and being low-key under the weather, I have just been struggling to keep up and Rachel was quick to offer to help me. Big thanks! With that said, let's get to today's episode where Rachel and I are talking about "story ideas" as we ask and answer the question: “Do You Need Truly Unique Story Ideas?”
Welcome back to the podcast! In today's episode, Rachel and I are talking about "writer voice" as we ask and answer the question: “How Do You Find Your Writer's Voice?”
This is the 3rd and final article in my 42 Lessons From 42 Years. In case you missed them, read part 1, and part 2. Hope you found these enjoyable to read 🙂
It's Podcasting time. In today's episode, Rachel and I decided to discuss the habit of head-hopping as we ask and answer the question: “How Do You Avoid Head Hopping?”
