  1. Great points here! I belong to a writer’s group. Every week a writing prompt is provided ahead of time that everyone is encouraged to use for a short story, poem, flash fiction etc. It is good practise to get the creative juices going. I often will write a short piece of fiction when I get stuck writing my novel. But I have never thought of using my characters in a short story. I love that idea. Thanks!
