About Serena Labrecque
Serena Labrecque is a fantasy author and geologist. She published her first two stories in high school with her cousin Shawn’s help. She then received her Bachelor of Science in Geology from the University of Rochester and her Masters from the University at Buffalo. After college, she returned to her dream of becoming an author.

An excellent conversation about middle grade books. Diversity in books is so important to a child’s development and understanding. My favourite middle grade character is Anne of Green Gables because I loved her positive attitude.
