After sharing my last “Write Life” update in January, I felt more accountable and so I’ve been plugging away at my writing projects.

The Blessed Trilogy

I had some great ideas for scenes that I need to work in to help move the series plot along nicely. I had always felt something was “missing” and I may have just found out what!
I have also started to work through the earlier scenes and make more cohesive questions for both myself and my alpha reader. I also managed to find some old notes for this book that I had scribbled somewhere random and then promptly forgotten about them. Seriously people, learn from me, keep your notes organised otherwise you could lose good notes!
What I will be working on through March:
- Clear through at least 10 scenes and make good questions for my alpha
- Complete the profiles of the main cast
- Figure out the best place for these new scenes
The Trinity Hart Series

If you are a newsletter subscriber, you may have read in my last newsletter that I am returning to my old method of writing multiple books at once. It definitely works best for me and stops me from having long periods where I write nothing. So I pulled Dark Hart out and since it’s been a while, the errors were GLARING.
What I will be working on through March:
- Type up current alpha reader notes
- Edit 8 chapters and make questions for my alpha reader
A Coming Storm

I actually have a lot of scenes written and most of the book planned, but I feel this is going to be a duology, so I need to work out just how I want to end this current story. I also need to fix some of the ideas. This is because what it started as has evolved into a slightly different story, but I didn’t amend the (unfinished) outline or some of the scenes to reflect that.
What I will be working on through March:
- Finish outlining
- Figure out the ending

Happy writing & stay safe

I write articles on writing, marketing, blogging, organising, social media, books and some random stuff. I also create free printable resources. If you find my content helpful, and entertaining and like what I do, consider supporting me on ko-fi (where you will also find extra content I post). All tips go to keeping my website running and helping me move towards publishing my novels.
