DON’T FORGET!! Please check this page every day (as a new story link will be added to the calendar below) 🙂
Yes, I am back! I seriously needed that hiatus and am coming back refreshed. Now, back in May, I put up a blog post about a Collab Project called the Advent Calendar Story Train. I wanted 23 writers to join the Project, whereby they would each write a Flash Fiction story under the theme The Gift.
Well, that project is ready and the first story will go live tomorrow!
24 Stories
Come and enjoy 24 Flash Fiction stories, from the writers who joined the collaboration project. The first story goes live tomorrow the 1st December. Below are the writers and the dates their stories go live. I will be adding the links to their stories as they go live.
Sadly, we did have some people who were unable to complete their stories, but a few of our writers were happy to step up and do a second story to keep the project going!
Please check out these stories and take some time to visit the blogs/websites of these writers too and show them some love and support, they are awesome!

Pingback: Introducing the Advent Calendar Story Train
Welcome back Ari, and thanks for setting this project up! I’m excited to see what everyone came up with 🙂
Thanks Anne. I have to say, this project was so much more work than I expected. Wrangling so many writers, is like wrangling cats!! lol
I can imagine! You did a great job, though! 🙂
🙂 Welcome back, Ari. I really missed you and your posts!
Aww thank you, Renard. I appreciate that. 🙂
How fun and festive too. Welcome back Ari!
Thanks, Linda. I’m glad to be back. I hope the Advent Story Train works out well.
It was a clever idea Ari.
Best of luck with your endeavor!
Thank you, Andrew. 🙂
You’re welcome.
OMG December is here already? (Well, tomorrow, but still!) Thanks for the reminder. I am eager to start my cheese advent calendar and OF COURSE this story train!
lol Cheese Advent Calendar? Interesting. What was today’s cheese?
Red pesto gouda. Definitely different and not sure I would ever choose to buy more, but I’m glad to know how it tastes now. (Well, that was yesterday. I open mine in the evening, so I don’t know today’s yet.)
lol I’ve not had an advent calendar for years. I did see someone with a Tea Advent Calendar. If I didn’t hate flavoured teas, that would have been cool
Oh, so which teas do you like? Black? Green? And what’s wrong with flavored teas? I tried one… 2 (?) years ago. It was good, but, if I remember correctly, there were too many ‘winter/holiday’ flavored (I don’t like ‘spiced’ teas.)
Despite being British which is all about tea. I only like black tea (Twinnings, Everyday tea) with oat milk and brown sugar. And no other type! lol
They all smell and taste weird and I like teas to comfort me so I have my fave and I just stick to it. My partner loves all the weird teas like red tea, Smoky Lapsang, white tea, green tea, chai etc – they smell…SO bad!
I like white and green tea, but red can be tricky, no chai, definitely no raiboos. They do smell bad.
Chai smells like you’re drinking pot pourri!
I cannot wait to start reading and love being a part of this! Thank you. ❤
Thanks, Jaya. I hope you enjoy all the stories being showcased.
Such a terrific idea. It is going to be so much fun. Thanks!
Thanks Darlene. 🙂 It was fun but a little stressful running this project. Wrangling writers is not easy! lol
Kind of like hearding cats. I know, I run a couple of writers groups. Well done you for putting this together.
Thanks, Darlene
