To All Advent Train Participants!

To all the Advent Calendar Story Train participants, I just wanted you to know that the email with the theme and all the details went out on the 31st May. It appears some of you may not have received it.

I am currently taking a short break until the 16th June, but since I’ve received messages from a few people saying they are still awaiting the theme, I thought I’d put up this notice in the meantime.

The email was sent out to everyone on the 31st May, if you haven’t received it, please check your spam folder.

Also, please can you add my email address to your white list, this should hopefully stop the spam-bots from carelessly throwing me into spam-jail again.

Deadline

I don’t want to put all the details in a public post, but several people asked about the deadline.

The stories must be completed by the 1st October 2024 at the latest. If you never got the email with the theme, I will resend it when I’m back so you can begin writing.

Question About Setting

Someone did ask if the story has to be set around Christmas, since the Story Train launches in December.

The answer is no.

They do not have to be Christmas or winter-setting stories.

Confirmation, Please?

If you’re an Advent Train participant and spot this blog post before the 16th, please can you email or leave a comment here letting me know whether or not you received my 31st May email that included the theme?

That way on the 16th when I’m back, I will know to who I need to resend. 🙂
