How often do you feel there just aren't enough hours in the day? We cram our days full of chores, work, errands, family, projects not to mention sleeping, eating, etc and if we're lucky we managed to find some time to chill or do fun activities. Well, recently I've felt like all I do is work. Housework, business work, paperwork, blog work, marketing work... and it's been getting me down. When that happens, I usually try and step back and take stock. So here's me...stock taking.
Following our relocation last year, I made the decision to focus full-time on my business and writing so I now work from home. However, working from home brings with it new challenges. So I thought I'd make today's article about best practices to stay productive. And since I have only been working from home for a year, I cajoled a few of my writer friends from Twitter to share their advice here too. 🙂
In the last article, I discussed How best to organise your time outside of writing. Now let's move onto become a more organised writer. Every writer is different and so not all suggestion here will work for you. However, you will hopefully find some of these useful.
