Welcome back to the podcast! Today we hit our 25th episode! And as of writing this, we just got 45 subscribers on YouTube! I am thrilled, I thought it would have taken us a lot longer to get to 45. 🙂 So we decided to discuss some of those annoying questions writers get asked. Do any of these questions make your list? "What Questions Do Writers Hate?"
Just a reminder: There will be no Friday blog posts for the next few months while I'm on my sabbatical. So I am now back on The Merry Writer Podcast and today Rachel and I tackle the question: "Should authors stick to one genre or write multiple genres?"
I am still dealing with the death in my family, so was unable to join Rachel as she welcomed our newest guest Andrew McDowell to the show. Andrew has been a long-time supporter of The Merry Writer game, and we were excited to invite him onto the show. Today's question is: "When did you realise you wanted to be a writer?"
Just a reminder: There will be no Friday blog posts for the next few months while I'm on my sabbatical. Tragically, there was a death in my immediate family recently. As such I have been away dealing with this very difficult situation. Our earlier episodes were all pre-recorded but we have now caught up and I have not been in the right head-space to podcast. So today's episode is handled by Rachel completely, she does an incredible job flying solo with the podcast and today's question: "Where can you share your writing?"
We are doing a marketing episode today. Since we are still bumping up against people who say thing don't market because the book isn't published, we decided to address the question: "Why do you need to market your book before it's published?"
Just a reminder: There will be no Friday blog posts for the next few months while I'm on my sabbatical. Holy podcast, batman! We are up to our 20th episode! I can't believe we have already created this many episodes. Today on the podcast, Rachel and I discuss the question: "What do you wish you knew when you started writing?"
