January Goals 2020 | Monthly Goals

So let’s kick off January with some goals!  I’ve decided 2020, is going to be a good year.

Mainly because the last 3 years, haven’t been too great and I’m getting a little pissed off about getting slapped in the face with bad year after bad year.

So, no more bad years.  I have decided!!  2020 is the year of DOING!

I’m going to be doing my goals a little differently… instead of crowbarring in as many as possible, I’m sticking with just ONE goal per category.  That’s right, just one!

Seasons Greetings to All

It’s that time again.  I am currently sailing* my way back to England to visit my family.  While it’s nice to see them, it means I am away from my partner, the light in my life which does leave me sad.

*Is it considered sailing on a ferry…when it doesn’t have any sails?

This means I am taking a short break.  The next blog post will go live on 27th December and my next Newsletter will go live on 31st December.  Not on my newsletter list?  Join here.

Should You Plan Out Your Whole Year?

Planning out a whole year?  Am I crazy?  Well, perhaps.  But I like to take stock of my methods and change them if they stop working for me.

Now, while monthly goals and daily tasks do work, they weren’t having the effect I needed for long-term goal planning.

I decided I required something more drastic.  *Insert dramatic music* I needed to do “Yearly Planning”.

Time for Another 85k Writing Challenge

If you’re looking for a new challenge to push your writing in the coming year, then I heartily recommend the 85K 90Day Writing Challenge hosted by Julie Valerie.

The Challenge (technically) runs from 1st January to 31st March every year. I say technically because there are more steps throughout the year in regards to Editing, Prepping etc.

It just means if you completed the challenge and wanted continued encouragement, support and advice on the following steps in your writing journey, you can use the 85K Challenge to help.
