I definitely agree that books shouldn’t be given away for free because I know that I personally work really hard on writing my books and I get them professionally edited (which is NOT free), professional cover art (also NOT free) and get marketing materials printed up. I think giving a free short story that creates hype and interest is the best way.
Exactly! The amount of our time and money for writing the books, editing then all the extra costs just for authors to give loads of copies away!
