Finding a writing buddy is tough. I had a really good one for a long time and then she suddenly lost interesting in writing her own work. Then it got awkward sending her my stuff because it felt like rubbing it in, so I agree that it’s important to find someone who is not just at same level, more or less, but also has the same level of investment. I guess that’s true for anything you want to share with someone who you met for a particular reason.
Yes, same level of investment is key!
