November Goals 2019 | Monthly Goals

Gooooooals!!

It’s that time again, where I check on my progress and see if I’ve actually managed to have a successful month.

I do love “ticking” things off my list πŸ˜€

Last Month’s Goals

01 – Finish Outline of The Blessed (book 1)PARTIALLY DONE Started strong but lost track due to some family dramas and didn’t get a nice block of time that I needed.Β  But I’m close!Β

02 – Brainstorm The Blessed (book 2) DONE I actually managed to do some brainstorming for book 2 while doing the dishes!Β  Got loads of ideas and a good number of big plot points noted down.Β

03 – Write Flash Fiction pieceDONE – Written and submitted and I was really happy with the piece!Β  It will be uploaded on this blog in January πŸ™‚Β

04 – Write 1 Month’s blog postsDONE – Not only did I write 1 month’s worth of blog posts, but I have also fully planned out blog posts for November and December and have several written!

05 – Write Guest Post DONE this was for StoryWars and you can read it here.

06 – Read one book DONE – I read and reviewed Eternal Shadow by author Trevor B Williams.

07 – Complete required tasks DONEWe have now purged a lot of items and organised several areas of the house πŸ™‚

08 – Set up New Sales PlatformDONE While I’m still uploading all my products, I set up shop with nuMONDAY since Etsy’s changes have not been favourable.Β

The sharp-eyed amongst you will realise I originally had only 7 goals in October, but I added an 8th partway through the month.Β  So 7 out of 8 goals is pretty damn awesome!

01 – Finish Outline for The Blessed book 1

This definitely needs to be completed by the end of this month.

02 – Start Outlining The Blessed book 2

I’m hoping to use book 2 in the 85K Writing Challenge, but to do so, I need an outline so I need to at least get the bare bones done.

03 – Complete all blog posts for the year

I’ve been able to get so much more completed on this blog since cutting down how many times I blog in a week.Β  So with much of November and December prepped, I want to get them all completed.

04 – Read 1 book

I have some things happening in November so I’m back to limiting myself to just reading one book.

05 – Go through all Artwork and purge

I need to go through all my artwork…and there’s a lot!Β  Some of the originals I want to keep, others I am happy just to keep a digital copy.

06 – Try new hair treatment

My hair has been neglected recently so I want to try some new treatments to give it a boost.

07 – Sort all Stock

My stock has gone a bit haywire and is spread over several locations due to some changes I’ve made in my Craft room.Β  I need to give it another overhaul.

08 – Create 10 new items

I got side-tracked and stopped adding new items to my shops, I need to get back into the swing of making new products.
