It’s a new month, so time to set some new goals. Last month, I managed to complete almost al despite melting in the weather, so I’m hoping for the same success this month.
Looking back over May, I completed 7 out of 9 goals which is pretty damn good. I had reduced my goal list as some were bigger goals than normal and also because things had gotten crazy. So, I’m upping my goals to 13 this month because I do love a challenge!

01 Write 11,950 words of my current WIP, The Blessed
Well, I just managed over 8K words in May (and almost all of them were in the last two days of the month). So I’ve added the missing words to this month’s word count. Gonna be better! This WIP is keeping me up at night, damn things need to get out of my head.
02 Add another 40 scenes to my Master List
For those who don’t know I have random scenes written for my Dark Hart series that I have been writing for YEARS. In a shocking desire to be organised, I am listing them all on a spreadsheet. This allows me to delete duplicate files, organise plot lines and work out just how many words I’ve written with all these scenes.
03 Clear through another 300 documents
This mammoth job will probably kill me but I am definitely getting there. Seriously, get organised soon – you never want to have to go back over decades of electronic files and retro-actively clear through, delete or file them.

04 Update at least 15 earlier blog posts
I am bumping this up to 15 as I am almost now onto updating my Guest blog posts. I’m hoping this damn blog will be fully updated before I hit Sept! I have been going for a consistent look, tight writing, and better SEO. It’s definitely working 😀
05 Plan all blog posts for this month
I am still managing to plan my blog posts for the month, once I feel comfortable that this has become a constant, I’ll move it off my list and add in something new.
06 Update the Tutorial List & Guest post links
Due to all the updates I’ve been making on this blog, I need to go back through the links on my Tutorial Page and make sure they are not broken. I also need to add all the new articles to it. I really should have been doing that as and when they went live – but that was WAY too organised for me! :p Also, I need to make sure all my guest post lists are added to their page too.
07 Update Guest Post policy
I’ve been featuring guest posts for a while now and I think I need to re-write my policy to make it clearer and more succinct.

08 Reading Challenge 50 (4 books)
I managed to read 4 books in May, pretty good since I had been struggling to find the time over the last few months. I am hoping to carry this on into June.
09 Research 1 topic
I have a list of projects I am working on and I want to delve into some topics until I completely understand them. I have dropped this to one to give me time to really get in-depth with it

09 Do (at least) 10 online courses
I am managing to hit 10 courses a month, sometimes more. So I’ll keep it as is for the time being. Learning is fun! 😀
10 Plan my newsletter
This is a strange one as I hit some pitfalls last month regarding starting a newsletter. I am still hitting pitfalls, so while I try and fix them without it costing me too much money, I will plan a few newsletters (just in case) so I’m ready if I actually get over all these damn obstacles!
11 Organise and implement Instagram schedule and branding
12 Plan a Twitter Challenge
I love Twitter Challenges and I decided to create my own. So, in July there will be a 31 Day Twitter Challenge. I really hope you if you are Twitter that you join in 🙂

13 List 10 new items
I’m re-adding my business goal, I have a list of new items to make and am hoping to get one a week done – though that isn’t always the case, so just adding 10 new items to my shop will be a good aim.
